Here is my latest creation - the Trapezoid Altered Purse. I got the purse @ AC Moore, and covered with SU!'s new Cerise paper. The ribbon bows use SU's red and white 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. I thought that this would make a great gift sometime.
Welcome!
Welcome to my stamping website!! I am excited to branch out into the world of cyberspace with my love of stamping. On this site you will find pictures, tutorials, news, events, and more!
Although I am a relatively new demonstator for Stampin' Up!, I have been stamping for a couple of years. Thanks be to my friend "T" for showing me how cool stamping really is. Before I became so addicted to stamping, I thought, "I would never have enough time to hand make a card." So I challenged myself. I timed how long it took me to drive to the store, pick out a card, drive back home, and mail it. Guess how long it took? Over an hour. Then I handstamped a simple, yet striking handmade card. Guess how long THAT took? About 5 minutes. How much did the handmade one cost me? 42 cents. Store bought? 2.95...plus gas.
I think I will stick to handmade. :-) Not to mention, I LOVE the reaction I get to my handmade cards and gifts!!!
Stay tuned to this website for pictures, tutorials, news, events, and more!!

6x6 Pages
Recently, I have had several requests for 6x6 pages at workshops. These are great for brag books!! With one Simply Scrappin' Kit, you can make up to 32 pages ( 4 sheets of textured cardstock cut into 6x6 squares, used front and back). The first sample was made using the Round Up Kit with the Outlaw designer paper and the "Wanted" Stamp Set, and the second two samples were made with the Round Up Kit and "Wanted" Stamp Set.
Here are a few samples:

This close up is of an add-on that I used after the fact.....I stamped the big circle flourish from "Wanted" on Shrink Plastic, heated it with a heat gun, shrunk it, and low and behold.....it fit PERFECTLY in the center of the regular scallop circle flourish image. Too boot, the crop-a-dile worked like a dream, punching a hole in the middle - through that thick plastic and all!

Triangle Boxes
I am on a triangle box kick! They look so complicated, but are really easy!!
1) First, make an equilateral triangle. (I used my Creative Memories paper trimmer because it has the 60 degree angle on it).
2) Next, score your cardstock 1/2" down from the top of your cardstock.
3) Place a corner of your triangle on the left edge, with the bottom along the score line (triangle will be upside down), and trace it. Flip it and put it next to the one you just traced. Do this a third time.
4) Take your triangle template and line up the bottom with the middle traced triangle and trace.
5) You now have one big giant triangle divided up evenly. Now score on all of the lines (exterior and interior).
6) Cut triangle 1/2" away from the sides. Stamp as desired.
7) Punch hole in the three corners of the triangle so that when you pull it all together you can secure the sides all at once with a ribbon.
The bandana sample that I made uses the "Wanted" set from Stampin' Up!, and the flower sample that I made uses the now retired "Friends and Flowers" Simply Scrappin' Kit and some of the new On Board Chipboard.

I'm Baaaaack!
I know it's been awhile since I posted......life has been so crazy with the end of the school year. Between that and the excitement over the new catalog - I haven't gotten much sleep!
I recently had my new catty kick off this past Friday. The funniest part of all - everyone went STRAIGHT for the catalogs and THEN stamped afterwards. Too funny!
Here is what we made:

This card used Baroque Motifs, White Grosgrain, Rhinestone brads, Basic Black Cardstock and Ink, Purely Pomegrante Cardstock and Ink (In Color), and Whisper White Cardstock.

This card used Pick a Petal, Real Red Cardstock and Ink, Basic Black Cardstock and Ink, Dazzling Diamonds, Red Grosgrain.

This is the open view of the ladybug card.
